Original house built on the resort

Built in 1895

Sutton Bay Resort was established in 1895. The original log home is still on the site.

The resort is a park like atmosphere, and still has the original cabins that are rented weekly, monthly, or seasonaly. They are very rustic, and send you back in time. If walls could only talk, oh what stories they would have to tell. The smaller cabins are on the waterfront.

We are only  about a thirty minute ride to Spokane, but out here, you would not think civilization was so close. It's so quiet you can hear yourself think.

Come and join the fun. There are lots of picnic areas, and the kids can have a ball swimming, and playing, while parents can enjoy a good picnic.

Original well that supplied the resort with water
DSC05165.JPG
It still is on the resort property.

This well is the original and until 2001, it still provided water to the resort.. The resort now has city water, but the well still stands. It is a wonderful place to have a wedding, or just relax

Come and play with us. We have a wonderful beach area for the kids of all ages to play, fish, canoe, hike, or just plain relax. There is tenting under big tall Cedar trees, RV full hookups, and a community fire pit where everyone can sit around and swap stories, roast hot dogs, make smores, and get to know each other.

The view is fantastic!

The resort is open from about April 15th to about October 15th. Moose hunters are welcome to come and stay while hunting for their Moose.
